What should I bring on a guided trip?

Bring a valid fishing license, polarized sunglasses, rain jacket, and sunscreen. Approach Angling provides rods, reels, flies, and lunch on full-day trips (excluding Louisiana). Waders are available for Wyoming wade trips.

How many anglers per trip?

Trips accommodate one or two anglers.

What is the cancellation policy?

A deposit is required to hold your date. Balance due prior to start of trip. Contact us for cancellation terms specific to your booking.

When is the best time to fish Wyoming?

Wyoming trips run April through September. July and August are peak season and book weeks out. Spring and fall offer excellent fishing with fewer crowds.

When is the best time to fish Louisiana?

Louisiana redfish season runs October through December, with peak fishing October through November.

Do I need fly fishing experience?

No. Approach Angling works with anglers of all skill levels, from first-time casters to experienced fly fishers. Casting instruction is also available.
